Spearheads the company's strategic initiatives and oversees all financial aspects of the company. In addition, Mr. Shapiro is responsible for the following day-to-day business practice groups which include: court appointed receiverships and bankruptcy work, turnaround consulting, and development as well as manages deal structuring for the following types of transactions: sale-leasebacks, 1031/TIC tax-deferred exchanges, installment sales, buyout-lease terminations and rent reduction negotiations.
Mr. Shapiro is a CPA and holds a BS in Accounting/Finance from Indiana University. Among being named personally as a court-appointed receiver in numerous municipalities throughout the expanded Midwest, Mr. Shapiro has over 30 years of commercial and multi-family residential experience totaling over seventy-five million square feet and more than $6 billion.
Principal/Executive Vice President
Responsible for the company's direct real estate investment activities including acquisitions and development. Mr. Nieder has over 15 years of commercial, multi-family, hospitality and vacant land real estate transaction experience totaling over eight million square feet and more than $850 million.
Mr. Nieder is a CPA, holds a BS in Accounting from Indiana University and also earned an MBA from The Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.
Jamie L. Hadac
Executive Vice President
Responsible for the business development and client relations of the firm's third party Asset Management and "Properties-in-Transition" services. Ms. Hadac has twelve years of experience and over $600 million in real estate asset management, portfolio management, dispositions and finance.
Ms. Hadac holds a BS in Finance and Management from the University of Delaware.
Chief Financial Officer, CPA
Responsible for the company's financial systems and controls, as well as managing the company's financial reporting, property accounting, corporate accounting, treasury management, tax return assistance, insurance program and budgetary management functions.
Mr. Ostergard is a CPA and received a B.S. in Commerce from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia.
Vice President of Investment Services
Mr. Nelson is responsible for the financial & investment analysis of potential acquisitions on behalf of Foresite as well as dispositions, market research-surveillance, due diligence and other investment related activities.
Mr. Nelson received a BA in Hospitality Business & Finance from Michigan State University. He is a licensed real estate broker in Illinois.
Office and Industrial Leasing Broker
Mr. Tarr joined Foresite in June of 2010 and is responsible for overseeing the leasing and marketing efforts for the Chicago area commercial real estate portfolio.
Mr. Tarr received a B.A. in English Literature from Norwich University. He is a licensed Illinois real estate broker.
Vice President of Leasing - Retail
Mr. Dushman joined Foresite in May of 2011 and is responsible for the leasing of retail properties within Foresite's portfolio.
Stevhanie L. Howard
Ms. Howard joined Foresite in the 4th quarter of 2014 and is responsible for leasing and brokerage focusing on tenant and landlord representation of commercial properties in the Foresite portfolio including but not limited to retail, office and industrial assets. This work is done for private equity firms, pension funds, entrepreneurial owners/users, court appointed Receiverships, loan and special servicers, banks, life companies, mezzanine lenders, and Foresite's owned portfolio.
Ms. Howard is a graduated of Columbia College and holds a degree in communications. She also holds an associate degree and CADC as a substance abuse counselor.
Brokerage Services Coordinator
Ms. Jabaay joined Foresite Realty Partners in early 2014 as a Brokerage Services Coordinator. Kristen is involved in supporting the commercial brokerage leasing team, as well as supporting the multi-family investment sales brokerage team with their assignments.
Ms. Jabaay attended Indiana University in Bloomington, IN where she majored in Business Management. She is currently pursuing her Illinois Real Estate Broker's License and is a licensed notary. Kristen has also been a member of industry related professional organizations.
Mr. Pisauro joined Foresite Realty Partners, LLC in March 2012. Mr. Pisauro is responsible for assisting the CFO in preparing the company’s financial statements, overseeing the property and corporate accounting staffs, budgeting, performing treasury functions, managing audits, filing tax returns, and completing other special projects as assigned.
Mr. Pisauro is a CPA and holds a BS in acounting from Northern Illinois University.
Vice President, Regional Property Manager
Gary Kaplan joined Foresite Realty Partners in November 2010 as a Regional Property Manager and is responsible for directly and indirectly managing and leasing office, retail and industrial properties both in and out of the Chicago area.
Mr. Kaplan is a member of International Council of Shopping Centers and is recognized as a certified Shopping Center Manager, CSM.
Kenneth B. Best, CPA
Regional Property Manager
Mr. Best joined Foresite Realty Partners, LLC in the 2nd quarter of 2014, as a Regional Property Manager.
Previously, Mr. Best served as Asset Manager for JLL, where he managed all of the office/industrial properties for Commonwealth Edison and also served as manager for several metro suburban and Chicago MSA office properties.
Mr. Best is both a Licensed Real Estate Managing Broker and a Certified Public Accountant. He is a member of the Institute of Real Estate Management and the Illinois CPA Society. His accounting experiences include positions as International Auditor, Controller, VP Finance and Treasurer with home builders and manufacturing firms.
Mr. Best graduated from the University of Illinois at Champaign – Urbana with a BS in Accountancy.
Assistant Regional Property Manager
Ms. Schoumacher joined Foresite Realty Partners in the 3rd quarter of 2014 and is an Assistant Regional Property Manager. Janina oversees both stabilized and distressed Multi-Family assets: apartments, condominium deals with HOAs, student housing and subsidized housing in Chicagoland and throughout the expanded Midwest, Southeast, South and Southwest of the United States.
Ms. Schoumacher holds a BA from DePaul University. She is CMCA-certified and has been a licensed Illinois real estate broker since 2005.
Mr. Nickow joined Foresite Realty in April 2013 as a Property Management Analyst for commercial assets including office, retail, industrial and multifamily. His responsibilities include overseeing cash flow & property operations to meet client’s objectives; developing budgets, CAM Recs and monthly property reports; strategizing with vendors and contractors to achieve optimal service and cost; and strategic planning to increase property cash flow.
Mr. Nickow graduated from Indiana University where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Management and Human Resources.
Mr. Lease joined Foresite Realty Management in 2010 and is responsible for maintaining and increasing asset value for a multi-tenant commercial property in Ohio. Mr. Lease's responsibilities include asset management, financial and lease administration, supervision of on-site maintenance staff, tenant relations, project management, on-site inspection and daily operations, vendor relations and contract management, monthly reporting to the court and ownership.
Mr. Lease is a 1983 graduate of the University of Cincinnati and holds a degree in Business Management. Mr. Lease is a licensed Real Estate Sales Agent in Ohio and holds his Certified Property Manager designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management.
Area Manager – Director of Training & Transitions
Ms. Priebe, joined Foresite Realty in the 1st quarter of 2014 as a Property Manager for a 123 unit (348 bed) student housing property in Mount Pleasant, MI. Besides her on-site responsibilities, April oversees training and support for all Foresite company employees in the multi-family housing and commercial divisions, trains staff on management software and also assists in property transitions.
Ms. Priebe earned a B.S. in Secondary Education and holds two Master degrees in Human Resources and Communication from Central Michigan University. She also is a licensed Michigan Real Estate Sales Agent. April is a member of the Michigan Education Association and Central Michigan Association of Realtors.
Responsible for the financial activities and transactions of the properties under management.
Mr. Thilmany is a graduate of William Rainey Harper College in Palatine, Illinois and holds an Associate in Arts and Associate in Applied Science Degree in Accounting.
Director of Office Services
Ms. Campbell joined Foresite Realty Partners during the second quarter of 2011 as the Director of Office Services. In this position, she is responsible for all day-to-day back office operational aspects of the company including information technology, human resources, special projects and office management as well as overseeing the procurement process for the company and assisting senior members of management.
Ms. Campbell graduated from the Western Illinois University with a Bachelor of Business in Management.
Director of Marketing
Ms. Yehling joined Foresite Realty Partners, L.L.C. in the second quarter of 2011 and is responsible for preparing property related marketing materials and corporate brochures and promotional materials as well as media relations. She is involved in the building of marketing strategies for leasing and investment sales assignments together with corporate marketing .
Ms. Yehling is a graduate of Columbia College in Chicago, Illinois and holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree.
