Don Shapiro
President/CEO
Spearheads the company's strategic initiatives and oversees all financial aspects of the company. In addition, Mr. Shapiro is responsible for the following day-to-day business practice groups which include: court appointed receiverships and bankruptcy work, turnaround consulting, and development as well as manages deal structuring for the following types of transactions: sale-leasebacks, 1031/TIC tax-deferred exchanges, installment sales, buyout-lease terminations and rent reduction negotiations.
Mr. Shapiro is a CPA and holds a BS in Accounting/Finance from Indiana University. Among being named personally as a court-appointed receiver in numerous municipalities throughout the expanded Midwest, Mr. Shapiro has over 25 years of commercial and multi-family residential experience totaling over seventy-five million square feet and more than $6 billion.

Greg Nieder
Principal/Executive Vice President
Responsible for the company's direct real estate investment activities including acquisitions and development. Mr. Nieder has over 15 years of commercial, multi-family, hospitality and vacant land real estate transaction experience totaling over eight million square feet and more than $850 million.
Mr. Nieder is a CPA, holds a BS in Accounting from Indiana University and also earned an MBA from The Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.

Jamie L. Hadac
Executive Vice President
Responsible for the business development and client relations of the firm's third party Asset Management and "Properties-in-Transition" services. Ms. Hadac has twelve years of experience and over $600 million in real estate asset management, portfolio management, dispositions and finance.
Ms. Hadac holds a BS in Finance and Management from the University of Delaware.
Gerould Ostergard
Chief Financial Officer, CPA
Responsible for the company's financial systems and controls, as well as managing the company's financial reporting, property accounting, corporate accounting, treasury management, tax return assistance, insurance program and budgetary management functions.
Mr. Ostergard is a CPA and received a B.S. in Commerce from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia.
Doug Tarr
Director of Leasing Services
Mr. Tarr joined Foresite in June of 2010 and is responsible for overseeing the leasing and marketing efforts for the Chicago area commercial real estate portfolio.
Mr. Tarr received a B.A. in English Literature from Norwich University. He is a licensed Illinois real estate broker.
Ryan Nelson
Vice President of Investment Services
Mr. Nelson is responsible for the financial & investment analysis of potential acquisitions on behalf of Foresite as well as dispositions, market research-surveillance, due diligence and other investment related activities.
Mr. Nelson received a BA in Hospitality Business & Finance from Michigan State University. He is a licensed real estate broker in Illinois.
Eric Turrin
Director of Corporate Services
Mr. Turrin joined Foresite Realty Partners in the 3rd quarter of 2012 and is responsible for overseeing New Business, Acquisitions and Leasing initiatives for the Chicago area commercial real estate portfolio.
Mr. Turrin received a B.S. in Finance-Real Estate from Indiana University. He is a licensed Illinois real estate broker.
Edward Dushman
Vice President of Leasing
Mr. Dushman joined Foresite in May of 2011 and is responsible for the leasing of commercial properties within Foresite's portfolio.
Nick Carmen
Leasing Associate
Mr. Carmen joined Foresite Realty Partners in the 3rd quarter of 2011 and is responsible for the leasing of commercial property in the Foresite portfolio including but not limited to retail, office and industrial assets. This work is done for court appointed Receiverships, loan and special servicers, banks, life companies, mezzanine lenders, private equity firms, pension funds, entrepreneurial owners/users and Foresite's owned portfolio.
Mr. Carmen graduated of Indiana University and holds a degree in finance and management.
Mr. Carmen is a licensed real estate broker in Illinois and Indiana and is a member of Young Office Brokers Association and Young Real Estate Professionals.
Will Purdy
Vice President
Mr. Purdy joined Foresite Realty Partners in April 2008 and is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of several office, retail and industrial properties, with an emphasis on the repositioning and stabilization of distressed assets.
Mr. Purdy is a graduate of the University of Michigan and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. He earned an MBA with dual concentrations in Real Estate and Management from the Liautaud Graduate School of Business at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
Neil Davidson
Assistant Vice President / Regional Property & Transition Manager
Responsible for assisting the Foresite Accounting, Management and Leasing Teams with the transition (by acquisition and disposition) of properties in and out of the Foresite Portfolio both in Court Appointed Receiverships and REO areas. Mr. Davidson works with both residential and commercial assets in operations/management, real estate taxes, utilities, insurance, pro-rations and CAM reconciliations, budgeting, financial reporting and collections/arrearages/evictions.
Neil has over 20 years of property management experience. He is a graduate of Loyola University of Chicago with a B.A. in Public Relations, and is a licensed real estate salesperson in Illinois.
Joseph Pisauro
Assistant Controller
Mr. Pisauro joined Foresite Realty Partners, LLC in March 2012. Mr. Pisauro is responsible for assisting the CFO in preparing the company’s financial statements, overseeing the property and corporate accounting staffs, budgeting, performing treasury functions, managing audits, filing tax returns, and completing other special projects as assigned.
Mr. Pisauro is a CPA and holds a BS in acounting from Northern Illinois University.
Gary Kaplan

Gary Kaplan joined Foresite Realty Partners in November 2010 as a Regional Property Manager and is responsible for directly and indirectly managing and leasing office, retail and industrial properties both in and out of the Chicago area.
Mr. Kaplan is a member of International Council of Shopping Centers and is recognized as a certified Shopping Center Manager, CSM.
Michael Pontarelli
Assistant Vice President
Mr. Pontarelli is responsible for directly overseeing on-site staff, managing and leasing multiple office, retail and industrial properties within the Chicago area as well as other areas of the Midwest. He helps create and oversee strategic leasing plans for Foresite's commercial projects.
Len Richards
Assistant Vice President
Mr. Richards is responsible for directly overseeing on-site staff, managing and leasing multiple office, retail and industrial properties within the Chicago area and throughout the Midwest.
Mr. Richards is a graduate of Yale University and is an active member of ICSC.
Adam Trzynka
Assistant Vice President
Mr. Trzynka is currently responsible for the management and support functions of multi-family assets in the Chicagoland area as well as throughout the Midwest. He is responsible for creating and implementing strategic leasing plans and effectively marketing each asset. He also prepares and reviews financial statements and budgets and maintains tenant and vendor relationships.
Roger Daniel
Regional Property Manager
Mr. Daniel is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of multi-family properties in several markets nationwide with an emphasis on value enhancement through asset repositioning. Mr. Daniel's duties include preparing and reviewing financial statements, creating and implementing property budgets, negotiating and managing vendor contracts, running construction projects and working with as well as developing on-site teams. Mr. Daniel also has significant experience with market rate, Section 8 and other forms of subsidized housing plus commercial retail and office properties.
Sophia Mellos
Regional Property Manager
Her daily duties include financial statement reporting, the preparation of on-going monthly REO and Receiver reports, creating and implementing property budgets, negotiating and managing vendor contracts, and the facilitation of broker opinions of value.
Ms. Mellos holds a Bachelors of Science in Finance from DePaul University, and a Masters of Business Administration, with a concentration in finance, from Loyola University of Chicago.
Kelly Nierman
Regional Property Manager
Responsible for directly and indirectly managing and leasing numerous multi-family properties both in and out of the Chicago land area.
Shannon Hartman
Senior Property Manager | Training/Transition
Ms. Hartman, joined Foresite Realty Management in August 2009 as an on-site Community Manager in Fort Wayne, IN. She was responsible for the day-to-day operations of a 204 unit community and weekly and monthly reporting. During that time, Shannon was able to assist at other properties during transitions and work with other community managers remotely to help train them on operations policies and procedures. She also worked with regional management to assist in developing and implementing operational procedures.
Shannon has her Bachelor's degree in Family and Consumer Sciences specializing in Residential Property Management, with a minor in Business Management.
Erin Davis
Property Management Analyst
Ms. Davis is a Property Management Analyst and is responsible for analysis of commercial properties throughout the Midwest. In addition, she handles operations, management, financial statement reporting, budgeting, broker opinions of value, utility transitions, deferred maintenance issues, insurance, real estate tax appeals, work orders/contracts, and evictions/arrearages for clients/third-party owners/receiverships and property owned by Foresite.
Ms. Davis is a graduate of California State University in Fullerton, California and holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree.
Chris Keivit
Property Management Analyst
Responsible for multi-family residential analysis for properties throughout the Midwest as well as supporting the regional property managers with their administrative duties.
Mr. Keivit holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Hospitality Management from Siena Heights University.
Sam Patterson
Property Management Analyst
Mr. Patterson joined Foresite Realty Management in early 2011 and was promoted to Foresite Realty Partners as a Property Management Analyst. He is responsible for supporting the Regional Property Managers in the daily operations and management of commercial assets throughout the expanded Midwest. His duties include financial statement reporting, budgets, monthly REO and Receiver reports, the monitoring of property-related maintenance, delinquency collections, real estate taxes, insurance, property inspections, utilities and underwriting/due diligence.
Mr. Patterson graduated from the University of Iowa where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management and also the Certificate of Entrepreneurship.
Jo Lease
Property Manager
Mr. Lease joined Foresite Realty Management in 2010 and is responsible for maintaining and increasing asset value for a multi-tenant commercial property in Ohio. Mr. Lease's responsibilities include asset management, financial and lease administration, supervision of on-site maintenance staff, tenant relations, project management, on-site inspection and daily operations, vendor relations and contract management, monthly reporting to the court and ownership.
Mr. Lease is a 1983 graduate of the University of Cincinnati and holds a degree in Business Management. Mr. Lease is a licensed Real Estate Sales Agent in Ohio and holds his Certified Property Manager designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management.
Karen Campbell
Director of Office Services
Ms. Campbell joined Foresite Realty Partners during the second quarter of 2011 as the Director of Office Services. In this position, she is responsible for all day-to-day back office operational aspects of the company including information technology, human resources, special projects and office management as well as overseeing the procurement process for the company and assisting senior members of management.
Ms. Campbell graduated from the Western Illinois University with a Bachelor of Business in Management.
Sabrina Newman
Transition Anyalst / Property Manager
Ms. Newman joined Foresite in April, 2011. Her responsibilities include reception, fielding property management issues/calls/visitors to the corporate headquarters, filing, accounts payable/accounts receivable, travel arrangements as well as assisting the property accountants and controller.
Jackie Prell
Senior Property Accountant
Responsible for the financial activities and transactions of the properties under management.
Ms. Prell attended North Carolina State with a focus on Accounting and Finance.
Donald Thilmany
Property Accountant
Responsible for the financial activities and transactions of the properties under management.
Mr. Thilmany is a graduate of William Rainey Harper College in Palatine, Illinois and holds an Associate in Arts and Associate in Applied Science Degree in Accounting.
Stephanie Yehling
Director of Marketing
Ms. Yehling joined Foresite Realty Partners, L.L.C. in the second quarter of 2011 and is responsible for preparing property related marketing materials and corporate brochures and promotional materials as well as media relations. She is involved in the building of marketing strategies for leasing and investment sales assignments together with corporate marketing .
Ms. Yehling is a graduate of Columbia College in Chicago, Illinois and holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree.
